Following Yggdrasil Gaming’s entry into the market in the Czech Republic last month via a deal with Tipsport AS, the innovative gaming solutions supplier has gone live with leading Taiwanese social gaming operator XSG that will see part of its content soon being made available to players in Taiwan.

Yggdrasil, a subsidiary of Swedish online casino giant Cherry AB, issued a press release announcing that it had entered into a deal with social gaming operator, Xiang Shang Games Company Limited, in terms of which a selection of its games will be featured on the Taiwanese firm’s domain at 08online.com.

According to the Malta-headquartered developer, the “landmark deal” will encompass several of its video slots and could possibly include the recently-premiered Nitro Circus title being made available to Xiang Shang Games Limited for use on 08online.com.

The Chief Executive Officer for Yggdrasil, Fredrik Elmqvist, commented on the deal by saying that the arrangement denotes his firm’s ‘first entry into Taiwan’ before describing Xiang Shang Games Company Limited as ‘the territory’s leading social gaming operator.

Elmqvist went on to say that Xiang Shang Games Company Limited’s 08online.com platform has both a leading reputation and a loyal player base and they are certain that their games will prove popular. He also said that Taiwan provides Yggdrasil Gaming Limited with an excellent base from which to observe developments in the broader Asian market.
