Yggdrasil Gaming, a provider of market-leading online and mobile casino games, RNG lottery content and live lotto, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Frida Gustafsson as Chief Financial Officer in a role that was created following the provider’s rapid expansion over the past few months.
Gustafsson previously spent over six years in a number of roles at NetEnt and most recently served as the listed supplier’s finance manager for new markets and tax. She also previously served as auditor for Deloitte Sweden and will now be based at Yggdrasil’s headquarters in Malta.
Gustafsson’s appointment comes as a result of the continued expansion of Yggdrasal that demands a more complex corporate structure in order to operate.
Fredrik Elmqvist, Chief Executive Officer at Yggdrasil Gaming, commented on the appointment by extending his warmest welcome to Frida on behalf of the entire Yggdrasil team. He added that as Yggdrasil grows, it is important for them to assemble a world-class team of executives and Frida is one of the sharpest financial minds in gaming and will be a huge asset as they continue to expand as a company.

The appointment is the latest hire in Yggdrasil’s ongoing recruitment drive with the company, expanding to over 65 members from a mere 25 a year ago.
