Absolute Poker logoSince the domains of many US facing online poker sites, including Absolute Poker, Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars and Ultimate Bet 9 (UB.com) were sized by the United States authorities most players have not yet had their money returned to them.

Poker Stars players, have, however had most of the money due to them paid out.  Full Tilt Poker players fear that they may not be as successful as the Poker Stars players.

Players at online poker sites Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker have also not yet had their money reimbursed.

However, Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet players may soon see some progress as, according to a press release issued by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission where the two domains are licensed, they have been in close discussions with Blanca Games which is the parent company for the two online poker sites.

An agreement has evidently been reached with Blanca Games which is waiting for approval from the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York which is handling the cases against the two online poker sites and which seems to include plans to liquidate Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet.

Online Poker players have welcomed the statement from the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
