The PartyPoker sponsored Premier League III has completed its fourth day and eighth heat. The top three players are J.C. Tran, Peter Eastgate and Tom Dwan with 32 points, 26 points and 22 points respectively. These three have virtually sealed their place in the finals.
At the bottom of the table are Andy Black, Nenad Medic and David Ulliott and they need a miracle to qualify. Only the top five players in each heat get points, which are added to their previous tally. The winner of the heat gets 10 points whereas the player coming fifth gets 2 points.
Phil Hellmuth is currently in eighth place and has not performed to expectation. Vicky Coren, on the other hand, has done better than expected and is in fifth place just behind the winner of the opening season of the PartyPoker Premier League, Juha Helppi. Tony G and Roland de Wolfe, tied for the sixth place, are also keeping their hopes alive.
