Bwin, which partnered with the World Poker Tour this year, will bring the Main Event of this prestigious tournament to Venice in Italy.
The event will run between May 6th and May 10th, allowing players to enjoy quality brick and mortar gaming at a top quality tournament. Buy ins come at 4000 Euro + 400 Euro, and there are lucrative prizes up for grabs. The tournament will be broadcast by bwin on its web based channel.
“We are delighted to be working with the WPT on this spectacular tournament,” said Manfred Brodner of bwin, co-Chief Executive Officer of bwin. “This event will bring in the excitement that only bwin can offer - people will be able to bet on the players of the final table while watching the action on the screen.”
This is the first time that the World Poker Tour will be held on Italian soil, making it a particularly special event for Europeans and especially Italian poker players and spectators.
