In addition to a contract won last year by Greece’s Intralot S.A., the company has signed a further contract in terms of which it will provide Ohio Lottery’s gaming systems with instant gaming services for a period of two years with an option to extend the contract for three more two-year periods.

Intralot was selected to put a plan into motion in order to implement instant ticket and support services related thereto in the state as from 1st July 2009.

Intralot CEO said: “We are very satisfied that Ohio Lottery after our first contract has selected Intralot to provide additional services.   Being a partner of the Ohio Lottery is a great honor that strengthens our determination to offer unique, pioneering products and services to improve the Lottery’s performance.”

Since its conception in 1974 the Ohio Lottery has provided over $16 billion to public education in Ohio and Ohio Lottery Director is confident that they will succeed in increasing lottery revenues for this purpose.

The terms of the contract secured by Intralot with Ohio Lottery last year was to operate Ohio Lottery’s gaming systems services and to provide services and equipment for a new online/instant lottery system.
