PartyGaming, the world’s leading listed online gaming company, is endeavoring to boost their online casino site, Party Casino, by signing on former reality TV star and cricketer Phil Tufnell as their first celebrity ambassador.
Tufnell was chosen because of his great appeal to male and female online casino players, his high profile as well as his former cricket success. Tufnell highlighted the full range of casino games available at Party Casino in an advertisement which was created by an agency based in Leeds. This advertisement was first seen on Channel 4 in the UK during Celebrity Big Brother on January 28th.
At one stage Tufnell appeared in “I’m A Celebrity .- Get me Out of Here”. He will now promote the television, press and outdoor campaign for Party Gaming in order to highlight its’ range of casino games.
When asked about his new partnership with Party Casino, Tufnell said “ I had a lot of fun making the ads. I’m hoping this is the start of a long relationship with PartyGaming. I have advertised Party Casino but I am also a keen poker player so have huge interest in sister site Party Poker.” He added “ I understand Shane Warne is down under playing in a big poker tournament at the moment, wish I was there to take him on! He may have been able to turn a ball further than me but I can certainly turn a card better.”
Online gambling, especially amongst women, is growing at a very fast rate in the UK.
