London-based gaming operator and supplier Gamesys has revealed that it has strengthened its development capabilities by signing a purchase agreement with Snowcat Games, in terms of which it will purchase the developer.
Estonia based Snowcat Games was founded four years ago by Mitchell Rankin and Peter Moffit, with Rankin serving as the company's Managing Director together with Paul Caffrey, who joined Snowcat Games in the year 2015 as Director of Business Development. Gamesys’ acquisition of the company will give Snowcat Games an opportunity to access new markets.
Snowcat Games has forged numerous B2B relationships and its games are provided to multiple developers as a result thereof. Games developed by the company are put out in HTML5 format and therefore provides maximum compatibility across desktop as well as mobile devices.
Gamesys is a leading game developer and since its formation in 2001 it has put out dozens of casino slot, bingo and table games.
Lee Fenton, Gamesys Chief Executive Officer, commented on the acquisition by saying that at Gamesys they want people that love what they do and have fun doing it. He added that from the moment they started working with Snowcat Games it was obvious that they would be a great fit within the Gamesys family.
Paul Caffery, Snowcat Games Director, revealed that he is delighted to have completed this deal as Gamesys has a wonderful reputation and delivers world class content in both the UK and internationally.
