King Cashalot Jackpot at LadbrokesMicrogaming, the leading online casino software platform provider, has confirmed that the King Cashalot progressive jackpot has been hit by a lucky player at Ladbrokes, the British betting giant.

The lucky player won a whopping £1.5 million after trying his luck on the five-reel, nine pay line King Cashalot video slot game early in May.  He found himself the winner of this massive amount after hitting the jackpot when he managed to line up five King symbols on the ninth pay line with a maximum wager.

Thirty seven progressive jackpots are linked together by the Microgaming network across their licensee and more than €285 has been paid out to over 8,000 lucky winners.

Head of Ladbrokes, Mike Hebden, said “I am delighted that the progressive jackpot network has created another millionaire. It is so exciting when this happens and I am extremely proud that the player is paid in one single payment, rather than an annuity. We still hold the record of the biggest online jackpot win in history back in May 2009 with a staggering €6.37m single pay out. Watch this space for more winners in the future!”

The jackpot has been reset on King Cashalot and players can win a prize pool of just over $100,000 which continues to grow whenever the game is played.
