The forthcoming European Poker Tour (EPT) London tournament is to be sponsored by online poker site, PokerStars.com and will take place from Wednesday 30th September until Wednesday 7th October.
This popular event, which is the sixth such tournament, will take place at both the Grosvenor Victoria Casino as well as the Hilton London Metropole.
A high roller tournament with a 20,000 pound + 500 pound buy-in will start off the event which will be followed by a No Limit Hold’em 6-max and Pot Limit Omaha freezeout tournament.
Thursday 1st October will see the end of the previous day’s tournaments and the commencement of two new games, namely a European 8 Game Championsip and a PLO Double Chance 6-max.
Friday, 2nd October will be the start of the main event which will take place over a period of five days until a Champion is declared.
On Monday, 5th October, a “ladies-only” event will take place as PokerStars.com is trying to encourage more women to take an interest in the game of poker.
