Kahnawake Finally Acts in Superuser Scandal

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission, which has issued licenses to Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, both owned by Tokwiro Enterprises, finally has taken some drastic action in the superuser scandal.

Internal inquiries conducted by Kahnawake have established that employees of the former owner of these online poker rooms had defrauded players. Now Kahnawake has appointed Frank Catania, a former Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, to examine the matter from an independent perspective.

Mr. Catania will carry out a full forensic audit-cum-investigation of the online gaming business of both licensed entities. The objective is to determine if the games are now fair and that no fraudulent activities are now possible. Both Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet have been instructed to cooperate with the investigation or face revocation of the licenses. Once the report of Mr. Catania’s team has been submitted, Kahnawake will study it and take a final call on the fate of the two online poker rooms.
