Layne Flack is Back with a Bang

Typography

Layne Flack won the 6th WSOP bracelet of his career defeating Daniel Makowsky in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha with Rebuys. This marks the end of a lean period for Flack.

Flack first burst into the WSOP scene in 1998 when he placed second in the No Limit Hold’em Event. He won his first bracelet in 1999 in the Pot Limit Hold’em Event. For the next two years he had to be content with the best of 3rd placing. But in 2002 he showed class by winning 2 bracelets. And as if to tell the world that this was no fluke he repeated the performance in 2003 taking his bracelets tally to 5. Then things began to go downhill for Flack. However this year he is back with a bang.

In the tally of total bracelets Flack stands in the 7th place tied with three others. With about 20 events yet to be decided at WSOP 2008 it remain to be seen whether Flack can repeat a double and move up the ladder.
