NetPlay TV, in a bid to more effectively manage programming for its growing television channels, has announced that Michael Leggo has been hired to serve as Director of Television of the company’s NetPlay TV Broadcasting subsidiary. Leggo previously served as Head of Life Entertainment at the BBC.

NetPlay TV brings plays a unique interactive gaming experience through its Virgin, Sky 847 and Freeview brands.

The Chairman and of NetPlay Martin Higginson said: “As our portfolio of our own television channels and shows for larger broadcasters expand, it is vital that our television is supported by someone of Michael's track record and reputation. We are delighted that he has agreed to join the company and look forward to working with him to build on the exciting platform we have created.”

“NetPlay's dedication to providing quality entertainment has already proved massively successful,” said Leggo in response. “With ever more channels and platforms to cater for, this is a particularly exciting time to be joining the company.”
