Online casino software providers were out in full force at the recent International Gaming Exp that took place at Earls Court in London, from 26th January to 28th January 2010 giving visitors to the exhibition a preview of what they have to look forward to during 2010.
The recently released slot game Monty’s Millions was displayed by WagerWorks and exhibited under its parent company IGT. This slot game was released simultaneously at land casinos and online casinos. The soon to be released slot game, Kitty Litter, was also exhibited by WagerWorks.
WagerWorks also showcased the upgrades to its RGS platform that enables operators on other platforms to download a selection of WagerWorks games and offer them on their own platform.
The Microgaming stall carried endorsements from Ladbrokes, Jackpot city, 32Red and Unibet who all use Microgaming software. The Hellboy slot game that was released in conjunction with Dark Horse was an important feature and Microgaming also announced that a new branded slot game would be released shortly. Spin3, Microgaming’s mobile gaming partner, also exhibited alongside.
The Cryptologic stall featured giant models of Batman and Superman who they released after its deal with DC Comics. There were also presentations of Braveheart and Forest Gump as well as Jenga and Call of Duty Modern Warfare, two of the most popular slots released by them in 2009.
The Playtech stall focused on the deal with Scientific Games and displayed the game content developed by Sciplay, the joint venture with Scientific Games. Another deal was with Sportech marking Playtech’s entry to sports betting. Five Marvel Movie based slots were among a pack of nine new slots that was also on display.
