Casino.com, the Gibraltar-licensed online casino reported that a healthy baby boy was recently born to a couple who fell in love while playing traditional card and table games at Casino.com.
It was while Tammy and Douglas Root from Munich were playing roulette and chatting with other players that they discovered that they were both from the same town and had attended the same school 15 years earlier. They continued to chat online for two months after which they eventually met and fell in love.
Douglas proposed to Tammy in the same chat room that they had met 11 months previously and Tammy has now given birth to a healthy son weighing 3.4 kiliograms.
“We are always excited when there is a winner at one of our roulette tables but Tammy and Douglas are true winners of the game,” said Jeff Turner, Marketing Director for Casino.com.
This is not the first baby whose parents met online. Meaghan and James Kitts met online while playing the online game “Gears of War” during 2006 and now have a 15 month old child together.
