Evolution Gaming has become one of the first software providers to pass eCOGRA’S live dealer specific inspection.
In a press release from eCOGRA it was explained that live dealer operations were vastly different from standard software powered online casinos and that they had therefore specifically developed a different set of best practice standards.
eCOGRA tested for problem gambling, staff training, dispute facilities, anti-money laundering systems, player information security, operator probity staff access to sensitive areas, the retention of video recordings of all sessions, collusion and controls as well as overall game statistical performance on the blackjack, roulette and baccarat games offered.
eCOGRA’S review team was led by Gareth Muirhead who spent several days in Riga where the Evolution Gaming studio is located in order to ensure that the Evolution Gaming team was continuously monitoring all gaming activity and that eCOGRA’s Total Gaming Transactions Review system was in place. He reported that Evolution Gaming operates a very tight ship, and the cooperation of chief operating officer Svante Liljevall and the technical and operational staff in Riga was outstanding."
Evolution Gaming chief executive stated “ As a company we have always tried to lead rather than follow, and I am delighted that we have been successful in satisfying a tough but very practical set of international best practice standards. This can only boost our confidence in the commercial arena, knowing we are among the first to successfully put our technology, systems and people to this type of rigorous test."
