Playtech, the leading online gaming software provider and SEGA Games Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Japanese video software giant SEGA Corporation, have entered into an agreement in terms of which Playtech will provide SEGA with its huge range of online casino and poker products for it’s SEGA branded platforms, SEGA Casino.com and SEGA Poker.com.
Customers will now benefit from popular online gaming products from SEGA Casino and SEGA Poker, designed and developed jointly by Playtech and the SEGA research and development team.
The agreement will see SEGA Games Limited offering online casino and poker games exhibiting many of SEGA’s popular gaming brands such as House of the Dead, Virtue Fighter, Phantasy Star and Nights as well as SEGA Casino’s huge suite of gaming products which include roulette, blackjack and customized SEGA branded slot games. Playtech’s best online slots such as Beach Life, Sparta, Gladiator and Gold Rally will also be featured as well as Asian and Arcade Games. SEGA Poker also offers a life multiplayer poker room with up to 35,000 simultaneous players.

SEGA Games reported that Playtech was their obvious choice for a partner as it is the industry leader in providing online gaming software.
Playtech’s close to 800 personnel around the world are mostly engaged in developing gaming technologies.
SEGA Games was awarded an interactive gambling license by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission in October, 2009.
