Meta Persdotter, former CEO of Swedish house ware company, Duka, will take over the role of CEO for state owned gambling monopoly, Svenska Spel from the beginning of next month. Persdotter’s appointment follows a search for the appropriate person since the middle of last year and was announced by the chairwoman of Svenska Spel last week.
“We're very pleased to be able to present Meta Persdotter as Svenska Spel's new CEO”, said Margareta Winberg. “She has an excellent background in commerce and broad experience of developing both organizations and individuals, as well as customer service and various consumer oriented business operations. These experiences, combined with excellent personal leadership qualities, will be extremely valuable to Svenska Spel.”
